Curb rash (Inner rim): The inner rim barrels appear to be in good condition based on the interior photographs. Minor surface marks and light dust accumulation are visible, but no significant curb damage or gouging is apparent on the inner lip areas. Only visible up close upon detailed inspection.

Paint peeling / Corrosion: No significant paint peeling is observed on the spoke faces or main wheel surfaces. The matte bronze/gunmetal finish on the spokes remains largely intact. However, there is notable discoloration and surface degradation visible around the center hub mounting areas on all four wheels, with a grayish patina visible around the lug nut holes, likely from oxidation and brake dust accumulation over time.

White rust / Corrosion: Moderate white oxidation and corrosion is present around the center hub area and lug nut holes on all four wheels. This is clearly visible in the inner barrel photographs showing a whitish-gray corrosion buildup around the hub face and bolt holes. The corrosion appears superficial but is noticeable from approximately 0.5m distance when viewing the inner sections.

Suspected distortion: No obvious signs of distortion, bending, or impact damage are visible in the provided photographs. The rim lips appear uniform and the spoke structures show no visible cracking or deformation. However, for definitive confirmation of trueness and runout measurements, inspection with specialized balancing and alignment equipment is recommended.

Special notes: These are RAYS Engineering Volk Racing CE28N wheels, size 16x7JJ with +48 offset and 5x114.3 bolt pattern, manufactured in January 2009. The original air valves appear to be standard rubber type and should be replaced as a precautionary measure given the age of the wheels. The center caps with Volk Racing logos are present and in acceptable condition. Overall, this is a presentable set of genuine forged wheels showing normal wear consistent with age and use. The wheels remain suitable for continued use after addressing the air valve replacement and thorough cleaning of the hub corrosion areas.
